Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation
At the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Service, we focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of musculoskeletal injuries and performance-related problems issues in equine athletes. Our team consists of highly qualified specialists, including a Diplomate of the American College of Equine Surgery and a doctor in Biomedical Sciences, as well as experts in advanced imaging diagnostics.
Thanks to the combination of expertise in surgery, exercise physiology, regenerative therapies and rehabilitation, we offer a comprehensive approach to the horse as an athlete, from diagnosis right through to return to competition. In addition, we are the only hospital in Spain equipped with electronic motion-analysis sensor technology, enabling objective and highly precise assessment of equine movement.
