Emergencies and Intensive Care

The Emergency and Intensive Care Service at the Hospital Clínico Veterinario (HCV) is operational 24 hours a day to care for critically ill horses, providing highly specialized treatment and continuous, individualized care. We have a climate-controlled intensive care unit equipped with CCTV monitoring and a central control area with direct visual access to hospitalized patients in a critical condition.

Our multidisciplinary team, composed of specialists in internal medicine and surgery, has extensive experience in managing surgical emergencies, patients in shock, neonatal foals, and other situations requiring continuous life support. This unit is designed to provide not only advanced medical treatment but also the compassionate and precise care that these fragile patients require.
