Rotating Internship
A strong foundation for advanced clinical training and a successful career
A Rotating Internship at CEU’s Hospital Clínico Veterinario (HCV) in Valencia is an intensive 12-month, in-person clinical training programme designed for recent veterinary graduates who wish to take a decisive step forward in their clinical career.
This internship provides a comprehensive experience in a real hospital environment, with access to complex cases, state-of-the-art equipment within an environment of continuous learning alongside a multidisciplinary team of highly experienced professionals.
What does this programme involve?
Veterinary interns rotate through the hospital’s main clinical areas: internal medicine, surgery, emergency care, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, intensive care, hospitalization and laboratory services.
- Direct patient care under supervision
- Active participation in diagnostic testing, surgical procedures and hospitalization
- Team-based work alongside specialists, fellow interns and students.
- Daily training through clinical rounds, case discussions and guided reading
In addition, each internship includes free enrolment on one of our Advanced Postgraduate Courses (CSPs):
At the end of the programme, interns receive an official certificate, issued following an overall assessment of clinical performance and training outcomes.
Who is the programme for?
- Graduates in Veterinary Medicine (from Spain, from the EU with a recognized degree, or from outside the EU with a recognized degree and a work permit)
- Candidates with a good command of Spanish, both spoken and written
- Highly motivated veterinarians seeking high-quality clinical experience and with an interest in future residency programmes
