Advanced Equine Reproduction
The Equine Reproduction Centre is located at CEU UCH’s Teaching and Research Farm in Náquera, Valencia . It is an authorized centre for semen collection and artificial insemination (AI) using fresh, refrigerated and frozen semen.
In addition, the Centre has an agreement with the Ministry of Defence’s horse breeding service, Cría Caballar, which enables us to operate an authorized stallion station during the equine breeding season (March-June) . This station houses stallions of various breeds, such as Purebred Spanish Horse (PRE), Purebred Arabian, Thoroughbred, Hispano-Arabian, Anglo-Arabian, and Sport Horse, among others.
Our comprehensive approach to equine reproduction covers everything from the evaluation and preparation of animals for breeding to the treatment and monitoring of fertility problems, ensuring specialized care that optimizes reproduction in mares and stallions.
